Was nach 22 Uhr geschah, ist etwas diffus. Ich fasst die Aussagen verschiedener Akteure mal zusammen. Zunächst hat man wohl einfach nach Madeleine gesucht. Das naheliegendste bei einem fast 4-jährigen Kind wäre für mich, dass sie alleine aufgestanden ist und sich versteckt oder möglicherweise das Apartment verlassen hat und umherirrt oder vorübergehend bei jemandem untergekommen ist, der sie gefunden hat. So hat wohl auch die Mehrheit der an diesem Abend beteiligten Personen gedacht.
WER hat WANN die Polizei gerufen?
Matt Oldfield:
„so Fiona, I think, asked me to go and phone the Police, so I actually went down the route to where she would have gone for Nursery drop off, which his back to the, to the main reception essentially, so I went down that route looking for her at that time and I asked the reception to phone the Police, and that must have been about five past, it’s difficult to know what time it was at that time, but maybe about ten past ten, five past ten, ten past ten‘.“
„ten past eleven when the GNR sort of Police arrived and there was two of them in a Police car.“
Rachael Oldfield:
„Matt sort of went back and I think he went off to sort of look a bit more and search and he, he went down to call the Police at the main reception of the Ocean Club, erm and I just stayed near our apartment really and Jane was, she didn’t know what happened, she was looking after Evie, so I went to tell Jane what had happened, „
„‚Erm I think it was probably about half eleven, quarter to twelve, I mean they took a good hour or more than an hour to, to arrive“
Fiona Payne:
„I remember saying to Matt at that point ‚You go down to main reception and phone the Police'“
„I stayed with Kate for the rest of the evening, I didn’t, other than going onto their sort of balcony and out the front area of their apartment, I was with Kate.“
„I was there in the apartment when the first lot of Policemen arrived, which I think was around sort of between eleven, quarter past eleven.“
David Payne:
„then met up with Matt and err Russell and you know I remember saying right what, you know, what we gonna do and Matt was saying right we’ve gotta try and be you know systematic here err you know, right if you, you want to go off in that area and I’ll go down to the Ocean Club reception and you know ask them to call the Police“G
Aus den Aussagen der Tapas 7 geht relativ eindeutig hervor, dass Matthew Oldfield zur Rezeption gelaufen ist und darum gebeten hat, die Polizei zu rufen. Der diensthabende Rezeptionist Helder sagt hingegen aus, dass ihn John Hill, sowie ein Mitarbeiter aus dem Tapas Restaurant, über das Verschwinden eines Mädchens informiert haben und er daraufhin die Polizei gerufen hat. Auch Gerry McCann war dort und hat die Polizei informiert. Von Matthew Oldfield keine Rede. Hat Helder ihn vergessen zu erwähnen?
Helder Luis sagt aus:
“ he was on duty and was contacted by a member of staff from the Tapas Restaurant between 09.30 and 22.00 who informed him that the daughter of some guests who were dining there had disappeared.
That he immediately contacted the GNR in Lagos, shortly after this the child’s father and John Hill arrived at the reception and he phoned the GNR again.“
Leider gibt sein Statement keinen wirklichen Aufschluss darüber, wann genau die Polizei kontaktiert wurde.
ABER…
Es gibt natürlich Aufzeichnungen der Telefonleitung.
Gelb markiert sind die beiden Anrufe an GNR (lokale Polizei). Die Nummer „2827710“ ist die Operator-Nummer des Ocean Clubs. „282762809“ ist die GNR-Nummer. Die letzte Zahl in der Reihe ist die Uhrzeit. Demnach wurde GNR um 22:41 und um 22:52 Uhr angerufen. Die Polizei kam Aussagen zu Folge gegen 11, bzw. viertel nach 11 am Ocean Club an. Es kann also keine Rede davon gewesen sein, dass man besonders lange warten musste. Eher normal.
Warum sah man es als notwendig an, immer wieder zu betonen, dass man lange auf die Polizei warten musste? Und warum geht die zeitliche Wahrnehmung darüber, wann die Polizei gerufen wurde so auseinander?
